RadKat Is Popping Up at DCAZ This Weekend!
Hey friends!
We’re thrilled to announce that RadKat will have a table at this year’s DCAZ – Duval Comics and Zine Fest at the Main Library Downtown Jacksonville this Saturday, June 22nd from 11 am to 5 pm. Meet us at the Main Library, 303 N. Laura St. 

Come say hi and check out:

  • Children’s books illustrated by Brenda Kato
  • Art prints, stickers, and coloring sheets
  • Skate Cat Girl merch and other fun DIY creations
    We’ll also be featuring work by The Unicorn Trainer, whose quirky cartoons are sure to make you smile.
    Look for RadKat on the event map — we’re the booth with Positive Mental Attitude vibes and punk-skater flair.

This celebration of local, independent publishers, the event will feature over 90 local zine and comic creators, a risograph printing activity, a Writer’s Lab workshop, a mini-zine making program for teens, a Lit Chat Interview, and more. 

The event and all programs are free to attend! If you want to support local zinesters with a purchase, there will be tables set up throughout the space to showcase their work.

Reminder: Street parking downtown is FREE on Saturdays! If you prefer, parking will also be available in the Duval Street Parking Garage, next to the Main Library. During special events, parking is $5 (cash preferred) and there is no validation.

Spotlight: “I’m A Secret Superhero” – Building Confidence One Page at a Time
“I’m A Secret Superhero” is a heartwarming picture book that reminds kids their superpower might be something invisible — like kindness, compassion, or love.
Illustrated by RadKat’s Brenda Kato, the book showcases a diverse cast of characters, helping kids see themselves as heroes in their own lives.
Each character has a special talent — from baking and singing to farming and skating — and the story encourages readers to discover what makes them shine.
We’ll have copies available at DCAZ this Saturday and in our online shop soon!

We’re stoked to announce that RadKat Studios will be popping up at this year’s Duval Comic and Zine Festival (DCAZ) — and we can’t wait to connect with all of you!

DCAZ is one of our favorite events of the year — a celebration of comics, zines, DIY culture, and all things creative. It’s a space where artists, writers, punks, weirdos, and dreamers come together to share stories, swap ideas, and build community. Basically… it’s the perfect place for RadKat.

What We’re Bringing

At our RadKat table, you’ll find:

  • ✨ The “I’m A Secret Superhero” Coloring Book
  • 🌀 A call to artist for the Spiral Vortex Art & Poetry Zine
  • 🛹 Fresh designs from the S3 Surf/Skate/Street Art Zine
  • 🎨 Stickers, prints, and coloring sheets
  • 🌀 Sunflower and Skate Cat Girl art prints
  • 🤩 And a special showcase of cartoon comics by artist Unicorn Trainer!

Plus, we’ll have info on our creative services — from illustration and branding to video and audio production.
